    First day of the Maha Guru Bumtsok, a religious observance held at the Tibetan Community Center and organised by the Nechung Foundation, running September 16–20. All participants have chosen to attend, so the program is off-site for the full day. The remaining days of the observance, September 17–20, fall on days the program is not normally open.

    The exact date depends on the weather forecast and on ticket availability at the farm, so we plan for both days and confirm which one about a week in advance. Until then, both days are listed as off-site.
